Inspiration: The first time I saw the female Necromancer character on a cardboard display in the local EB store at the mall,
I fell in love with it. It's what really started me into researching the game and then caving in to buy it after it came out.
I wanted to move to a new online game after FFXI, and Guild Wars has been so much fun! I play as a purple-haired female necromancer in-game,
but my outfits are being upgraded a lot lately as I progress... I determined that probably the most recognizable costume of hers to create
is the one that's on all the promotional material and the box cover. (I don't think that exact design is in-game though, i think it's just game art.)
Since you can dye your outfits in the game different colors, and I'm ALWAYS making everything I have PURPLE for my character, I'm going to stick
to that for cosplay as well. ^_^ I already have the perfect purple fabric and other supplies! This is going to be a nice challenge!

Favorite Aspect: I don't think ANYBODY in the U.S. has cosplayed this before, since the game is still relatively new (came out in April 2005).
The necromancer character is on the box cover though (her name is 'Eve'), so anybody who plays the game or knows about it should recognize who I am. ^_^

Least Favorite Aspect: I ended up using my real hair with hair extensions (instead of the icky wig) and sprayed it silver/blonde. The temporary
hair color spray comes off easily and I was so worried it was going to rain and that the color would run all over my costume! YIKES!

Hardest Task: There are so many detailed parts! Buckles, belts, straps, trims, etc.!
Also, most of the parts I'm going to have to figure out patterns for by myself, or try to alter some of my existing patterns for some things.
